Despite the fact that this week's presentations brought more yeas than nays for me, I have to agree with the majority of grumbling editors. NYFW designers hardly reached out of their comfort zones to arouse our fashion senses. It's like having bad sex with the hottest guy in the room you've flirted with all night.
Okay we get it! You're appealing to the masses and in this economy its all about the benjamin's baby! More power to you but we need high fashion spread material for the reader's entertainment (ours included)!
Anywho, I did appreciate the popular array of a few wearable trends such as: lace galore, leather, bohemian earth tones and fur trim.
